The Crystal Point Condos, a 42-story residential tower located in Jersey City. Designed by Gruzen Samton LLP, the project will comprise 269 residences in a mix of one- two- and three-bedroom units. Residences will range from 800 to 1,817 square feet, and will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies in most units and views of the Hudson River waterfront from all units. Community amenities will include a spa, a fitness center, a game room, a lounge, a screening room, a concierge, valet parking and a lobby-level restaurant. Crystal Point will also feature access to the new marina that the city of Jersey City is currently planning.

The Crystal Point condos are currently available for sale.

Crystal Point construction is moving fast. They are almost done with the windows. Is construction on target for closings that start in dec '09? Can we get some pics of the building, and views from the building?

I haven't seen anything on the taxes, can please tell me what the taxes are?

Crystal Point has a 20 year tax abatement.

As of now we estimate taxes to be around 1.5% of your purchase price annually.

Is there going to be retail in the building?

Yes, there will be retail on the first floor of the building.

There will be a restaurant with indoor outdoor dining on the waterfront (eats and north side). No restaurant has been selected yet, we will update you as information becomes available.

There is also a tentative retail space for the for boat slip leasing/sales. This will be determined at a later date as details become available.

Sales have substantially increased since the new 30 year tax abatement was approved.

With 77 Hudson's tax abatement rejection it looks like Crystal Point maybe the only community in the area to be so lucky.
